For us, each piece is more than just an item of clothing. It's a product with a story, clean enough to come from nature and return to it.
As you wear it, bring it to life, and as it ages, love it even more.

“Natural clothing requires natural care!”
How do you wash and store botanical-dyed, handcrafted products, and how do you make them last longer? The answer is here!
If you've bought a product from Ham Fabrics, you no longer just have a piece of clothing in your wardrobe, but an item that ages with nature. A blouse pinked with avocado or a dress colored with pomegranate peel... These are not factory-made; they are garments patiently dyed, hand-stitched, and colored by nature.
🌱 So, naturally, they deserve a little special attention!
Here are a few golden rules for you to enjoy your botanical-dyed natural fabrics for many years:
🧼 1. Wash gently with cold water
Botanical dyes really dislike hot water.
👉 Turn the product inside out, wash it by hand or on a delicate cycle, with cold water.
👉 Use color-safe, natural-ingredient soaps.
❌ Bleach, fabric softener, perfumed detergents? A big no!
🌬️ 2. Dry in the shade, not in the sun
As lovely as the sun is, it's a bit too strong for natural dyes.
👉 Dry the product in the shade, laid flat.
👉 Tumble dryer? Let's gently say "no" to that too.
🔥 3. Ironing? Yes, but…
👉 Iron at a low temperature, inside out.
