What Do We Really Need When Packing for Summer?

What do we really need when packing a summer suitcase?
A few notes on linen pieces, light outfits, natural fabrics, and a simpler holiday feel.

Yaz Bavulu Hazırlarken Gerçekten Neye İhtiyacımız Var?

When the Eid holiday is extended to 10 days, I think all our minds go to the same place:
“Should we plan a short getaway?”

Even before summer has fully begun, that urge to escape suddenly arrives. Plane tickets are checked, suitcases are considered, the question "What should I wear?" slowly starts to echo in one's mind.

I believe one of the most important parts of a holiday is packing a suitcase. In fact, to be honest, packing for summer is harder than packing for winter. Because in summer, there's no end to the things you want to take with you. A thin shirt, a comfortable dress, another outfit you say "Maybe I'll wear it one evening"...

Then the things you didn't take stay on your mind :)
At least for me, it's always a bit like that.

That's why I've found a little method for myself when packing lately:
Thinking about outfits day by day and reusing pieces with each other.

What we truly need in summer becomes very clear. Breathable linen tops, light cotton bottoms, flowy dresses, and slippers that don't tire your feet all day long... Comforting pieces become more important than excess.

Especially natural fabrics provide great comfort during summer travels. Thanks to their non-sweating structures, light textures, and timeless looks, they both lighten the suitcase and make you feel more comfortable during the day.

After a while, when packing a suitcase, one really gravitates towards pieces that feel good. Things that are easy to combine, breathable, and don't tire you out during the day...

I actually imagine Ham Fabrics pieces a bit like this. Like pieces you can wear with slippers by the sea in the morning and then go out for dinner with just a small touch in the evening. Clothes that don't take up much space in light suitcases but are the ones you reach for most during your holiday.

Also, I think there's a different feeling when white linen accompanies tanned skin in summer. It has a look that lives a little more in the sun, simple yet strong.

Perhaps this is the best part of packing for summer:
Approaching a simpler, more comfortable, and slower rhythm with fewer pieces. :)

So, are your suitcases ready?
